JP Strudl main instrument is guitar. Over the years he used intensively looping as an exploring territory. He also used guitar synthetizer from the early days of the Roland GR-300. His palette now includes a vast array of color from a little arsenal of guitar rigs and synthetizers. JP has always been fascinated by MIDI Controller. So on top of his Guitar Synth, the textures are created using Wind Controller, Percussion PAD and Foot controller.
JP’s main influences are John Mclaughlin, Robert Fripp, Terje Rypdal for the guitar part and Brian Eno for the textural and producing side.
JP brings his strong passion for improvisation and composition.
It’s an exiting time but connecting all these social network requires a fair amount of time. Doing it on a part time basis, I sometimes wonder if my mind will stick together. It’s like learning to drive on the Highway !
